Pinecrest Diner was founded by Bill Foundas back in 1969 and it has
remained as a part of San Francisco ever since.
Our goal is to provide our customers with an entire dining experience that exceed’s their expectations on every visit. We do this by recommending add-on items that will enhance their dining experience. Our restaurant is clean and the quality is always high.
We value the people who work for us. Quality employees make quality food, keep the restaurant cleaner, give better service, and stay employed longer because they like working at the Pinecrest Diner. We have found that friendly managers hire friendly crew people and friendly crew people attract customers.
After the bars close, the clean booths, wood-grained paneling and a television are props for a study in late nightlife: Patrons in towering heels share the place with career late niters, dazed tourists hungry for some authentic San Francisco ambience.
You never know who you’re going to see at Pinecrest! Recently, the king-sized character actor Brian Posehn (Just Shoot Me – NBC TV) dropped in with a buddy. He was quickly assailed by a table of girls who were wrapping up a bachelorette party. “Suddenly Susan!” they began to shout referring to a television program he was never in. The actor/comedian was cordial to the girls – talking with them – being groped by them – you could see the man was anxious for breakfast.
